About

Buys dips in stocks with some leverage but pairs them with defensive staples. When no dip, it rotates into the strongest 4 trends across assets and runs a 30% bond sleeve that can go long or short Treasuries based on trend.
NutHow it works
It checks a 10‑day heat score (RSI, 0–100) on a fast tech fund (TQQQ) and the S&P 500. If too hot (>79 on TQQQ): go defensive—75% consumer staples (XLP) + 25% a volatility hedge (UVXY). If too cold (<31 on TQQQ or <30 on SPY): buy the dip—50% 3x tech or 3x S&P (TECL/UPRO) + 50% XLP. Otherwise: put ~70% in the 4 strongest assets by ~150‑day trend and ~30% in bonds: long 3x Treasuries (TMF) when rising; short (TMV) in clear downtrends.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 27.9% annualized vs 21.3% S&P; Calmar 0.89. A dip-buy and momentum cross-asset strategy with staples hedge targets higher growth, aware of larger drawdowns. Suited for growth-focused, risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
