About

Fades short‑term extremes in leveraged equity ETFs (buy dips, hedge when red‑hot with UVXY). When no extreme, rotates into the two strongest of healthcare, long Treasuries, US dollar, or commodities using 6‑month trends and risk‑based sizing. High risk.
NutHow it works
Uses a 10‑day “heat meter” (RSI, 0–100). If it’s very hot (>80) on TQQQ (3× Nasdaq) or SPXL (3× S&P 500), switch to UVXY (a volatility spike hedge). If very cold (<30) on TQQQ, SOXL (3× semis), or SPXL, buy that fund for a rebound. Otherwise, follow 6‑month trends of stocks (SPY), long bonds (TLT), the US dollar (UUP), and commodities (DBC) and hold two of CURE, TMF, USDU, or PDBC, sized by recent risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adds explicit volatility hedging and macro-rotation to SPY exposure, aiming to tame crashes and capture regime shifts. Out-of-sample: ~15.8% annualized with a distinct risk profile and diversification beyond a pure S&P 500 bet.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
