About

A rules‑based, high‑octane strategy that flips between 3x tech/semis/S&P funds, their inverse hedges, and bonds using RSI (hot/cold), trend filters, and volatility cues. It aims to buy dips, ride uptrends, and hedge when markets look overheated.
NutHow it works
It splits money into two buckets: 70% fast “Pop/VIX” bots and 30% long‑term TQQQ. It uses simple traffic lights: RSI (0–100 heat gauge: <30 cold, >80 hot), price vs trend (20/200‑day), and volatility (UVXY up = fear, SVXY up = fear easing). It then rotates among 3x bull funds—TQQQ (Nasdaq), TECL (tech), SOXL (semis), SPXL/UPRO (S&P)—their inverse bears (SQQQ/SOXS), or bonds (BSV/TLT). Goal: buy dips, ride uptrends, hedge when overheated. Very risky.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~78% annualized return vs ~24% for the S&P, Sharpe ~1.40, Calmar ~1.91. A risk-managed, dip-buying, tech/semis tilt with hedges offers superior risk‑adjusted gains—though drawdowns can be larger than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
