About

A tactical, rules-based portfolio: 80% rotates among 3x bull, 3x bear, or cash across S&P 500, Nasdaq, and semis; 20% manages drawdowns by trading long-term Treasuries and safe-havens. Uses “hot/cold” scores and trend lines. No K‑1 ETFs.
NutHow it works
- 80% chases trends in three areas: S&P 500, big tech (Nasdaq 100), and semiconductors. It uses simple “hot/cold” scores and trend lines to flip between 3x bull ETFs, 3x bear ETFs, or T‑bills when markets look frothy or jumpy. - 20% is a rates/macro sleeve that buys or shorts long‑term Treasuries (and sometimes gold, USD, or staples) based on interest‑rate trends. - All funds are standard 1099 ETFs (no K‑1).
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic 80/20 tactical strategy uses trend-following equity bets with a rate/macro hedge. In out-of-sample tests it delivers solid risk-adjusted returns (Calmar ~0.74) and diversified drawdown protection versus the S&P 500, with smoother volatility.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
