About

Rules-based, daily strategy that rides big‑tech uptrends with leveraged ETFs, then quickly flips to volatility hedges, inverse funds, bonds, dollar, or KMLM when markets get overheated or weak. High risk, high turnover; occasional crypto pops.
NutHow it works
1) Check the market’s backdrop: is the S&P 500 above its long‑term trend? Is inflation pressure rising? 2) If the backdrop is healthy, ride big‑tech momentum using leveraged funds like TQQQ/TECL/SOXL. 3) If prices look “too hot” short term, pivot to volatility hedges (UVIX/UVXY) or inverse funds. 4) If conditions weaken, rotate into defense: Treasuries (TMF/TLT), cash‑like T‑bills (BIL/SHV), the U.S. dollar (UUP), or diversifiers like KMLM (managed futures) and FTLS (long/short equity). 5) Compare bonds vs tech strength and use short‑term “overbought/oversold” readings to fine‑tune entries/exits. 6) In strong crypto uptrends, take small, quick shots in bitcoin/ether proxies; otherwise stand aside. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Outperforms the S&P on risk-adjusted terms: out-of-sample annualized return ~48% vs ~20% for SPY, Sharpe ~0.97, Calmar ~2.08. It rides tech rallies with leverage, then hedges to cap drawdowns. Low beta; higher upside and drawdowns in hot markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
