About

A daily, rules‑driven, risk‑on/risk‑off strategy. It rides tech uptrends (often with 3x funds), buys short‑term “volatility pops” when markets look overheated, and can rotate to Treasuries, cash‑like T‑bills, or managed futures (KMLM) when risk rises.
NutHow it works
Each day, the strategy checks market “mood” and trend. If the S&P 500 is trending up and tech isn’t over‑heated, it leans into tech/semis (often with 3x funds). If things look too “hot,” it briefly buys volatility funds that usually jump on pullbacks. If risk rises, it moves to Treasuries, cash‑like T‑bills, or managed futures (KMLM). It rotates between these playbooks as conditions change.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 2.23 vs SPY 1.85; annualized return ~144% vs ~23% for the S&P; Calmar ~10 indicates strong risk-adjusted performance. Daily regime-switching across tech, vol hedges, and bonds targets higher upside with controlled risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
