This strategy checks the market every day. If the overall U.S. market looks healthy, it leans hard into Nasdaq and the strongest big tech stocks like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, Tesla, AMD, and TSMC. If tech looks too overheated, it may bet against Nasdaq or move into Treasury bonds or a volatility fund. If tech has fallen sharply, it sometimes buys the dip. In weak markets, it becomes more defensive and may short Nasdaq or hold long-term bonds.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
