About

Rules-based, daily tech strategy. Rides Nasdaq uptrends with TQQQ or top big‑tech stocks, buys sharp dips, and when things look overheated or weak, flips to bonds (EDV/TMF), volatility (UVXY), or shorts via SQQQ. Uses leveraged ETFs; expect big swings.
NutHow it works
Daily rules. First, is the overall market (SPY) in an uptrend? If yes and the Nasdaq’s near‑term trend is up, it rides tech with TQQQ or a basket of top big‑tech stocks (AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, etc.). It buys deep dips, but if prices look “too hot,” it parks in long Treasuries (EDV/TMF) or volatility (UVXY). If the market weakens, it shorts the Nasdaq (SQQQ) or sits in Treasuries. Uses 3x ETFs, so swings can be large.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers ~75.9% annualized return vs SPY ~23.5%, Sharpe ~1.473, alpha ~0.288, Calmar ~2.026. Expect larger swings (max drawdown ~37%), but superior risk-adjusted, tech-led upside versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
