About

A rules-based, high-octane tech strategy: ride Nasdaq uptrends with 3x ETFs or the strongest mega-cap winners, hedge/short when overheated, and shift to long Treasuries in downtrends. Uses RSI, trend filters, and momentum ranks. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
1) Trend gate: If SPY is above its 200‑day average, use risk‑on rules; if not, hold the stronger of SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq) or EDV (long Treasuries). 2) In uptrends: - If Nasdaq is “hot” (RSI = momentum gauge; high = overbought), hedge with UVXY or TMF. - If QQQ fell >6% in 5 days, usually buy TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), unless a big 1‑day bounce or not washed‑out ⇒ SQQQ. - Else, buy oversold TQQQ/TECL or rotate into recent winners (AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, AMD, TSLA, AMZN, TSM); leaders get more weight. Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
High-octane Nasdaq strategy with risk controls. Out-of-sample annualized return ~54.6% vs 18.6% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.03 vs ~0.99; Calmar ~1.57; max drawdown ~34.7% vs ~18.8% for SPY - more upside, with measured risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
