About

Daily market-timer that flips between VIX, leveraged tech, defensive hedges, or steady blue‑chips based on simple “hot/cold” readings of QQQ and SPY.
NutHow it works
It times the market using a simple “hot/cold” gauge (RSI: 0–100; >70 = hot, <30 = cold) on major indexes. - If tech (QQQ) is very hot, it buys a VIX volatility fund (VIXM) expecting a pullback. - If tech is very cold, it buys a 3× tech fund (TECL) plus small Costco/UnitedHealth. - Else, if the S&P 500 is suddenly cold, it holds an S&P inverse fund (SH), commodities (DBC), and the US dollar (UUP). - Otherwise, it holds Costco and UnitedHealth.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, risk‑managed timing adds diversification to SPY. Out‑of‑sample: ~17% annualized return with market‑like beta and Calmar ~0.45, plus hedges (VIXM, SH, DBC) to cushion shocks. A complementary core, not a replacement, for an equity sleeve.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
