This strategy checks whether the tech-heavy Nasdaq market has risen or fallen too fast lately. If tech looks overheated, it buys VIXM, a fund that tends to benefit when market fear jumps. If tech looks beaten down, it buys mostly TECL, a very aggressive technology fund, plus small positions in Costco and UnitedHealth. Otherwise, if the broad market looks weak, it spreads money across an S&P 500 hedge, commodities, and the U.S. dollar. If not, it simply holds Costco and UnitedHealth.
