About

A daily, single-position strategy using QQQ momentum signals to switch among five leveraged/inverse ETFs (SQQQ, TQQQ, QID, QLD) or QQQ, aiming to ride short-term trends while attempting to limit risk via conditional entries.
NutHow it works
Each day you start with cash and decide which single instrument to hold. The decision is driven by how QQQ has moved recently: if it jumped today, the plan buys SQQQ (betting QQQ will fall); if it’s fallen hard over the past 5 days, it buys TQQQ (bullish leverage). If neither, it looks at even shorter/longer windows: a small 2-day gain leads to QID (inverse), or a 10-day drop leads to QLD (2x long). If none of the signals fire, it holds QQQ. You rebalance every day, so the position can flip between these ETFs based on the latest signals.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample momentum strategy switching daily among leveraged ETFs to ride Nasdaq trends. Aims for ~37.6% annualized return vs 24.1% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.12; higher upside but larger drawdowns (~33%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
