About

A rule-driven “gas/brake” machine. In calm uptrends it piles into leveraged tech/growth; when fear or overheating appears it flips to volatility hedges, inverse funds, cash‑like T‑bills, or Treasuries. Built for fast, tactical moves—not buy‑and‑hold.
NutHow it works
It checks three things constantly: 1) trend (are stocks above key averages?), 2) mood (is fear rising or falling via the VIX?), and 3) heat (are assets overbought or oversold via RSI). • Calm/uptrend: ride aggressive tech/growth (e.g., TQQQ, SOXL, TECL). • Fear/overbought: flip to hedges (UVXY/UVIX), inverse funds (SQQQ/TECS), cash‑like T‑bills, or Treasuries. Very aggressive; expect sharp swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rule-based strategy blending aggressive tech exposure with timely hedges. Out-of-sample annualized return ~60% vs SPY ~23%; Calmar ~1.42; Sharpe ~1.05. Higher drawdowns in volatility regimes, but superior upside capture vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
