A concentrated semiconductor strategy that looks for financially strong companies whose stocks have recently dropped, then bets most heavily on the ones that look the most temporarily out of favor.
NutHow it works
This strategy starts with a small list of financially strong tech hardware and semiconductor companies. It then looks at which of those stocks have fallen the most over the last 12 trading days using RSI, a simple score of recent price strength/weakness. It buys the weaker recent performers, expecting a bounce. A special 6-layer weighting system gives the biggest positions to the most beaten-down stocks, so the portfolio is heavily tilted toward a few chip names.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
