About

A highโ€‘octane, daily strategy that buys 3ร— tech on dips, hedges or shorts when markets look overheated, and pivots to Treasuries, staples, gold or cashโ€‘like bills when risk rises. It relies on RSI โ€œtemperature,โ€ the 200โ€‘day trend, and volatility signals.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks a simple 0โ€“100 โ€œtemperatureโ€ (RSI) and trend (200โ€‘day average). If tech looks washedโ€‘out, it buys beatenโ€‘down 3ร— tech/semis (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL) for a bounce. If things look overheated, it hedges with UVXY/VIXY or shorts (SQQQ/QID/TECS). If bonds lead or trend turns down, it rotates to TMF, XLP, GLD or BIL. It may use SVXY (with a strict safety switch).
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, regimeโ€‘aware strategy hunting tech rebounds with 3ร— longs, plus volatility hedges and rotations to Treasuries/defensives. OOS: ~22.7% annualized return, ~26% max drawdown, Calmar ~0.87โ€”higher risk, but unique diversification vs the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesnโ€™t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
