About

A rules-driven, multi-sleeve portfolio that uses trend (200‑day) and RSI to switch between leveraged ETFs in uptrends and cash/hedges or inverse funds in downtrends across Nasdaq, S&P, semis, financials, utilities, and Treasuries.
NutHow it works
Your money is split into 6 sleeves: Nasdaq (30%), S&P 500 (30%), and 10% each in semis, financials, utilities, and long Treasuries. In each sleeve: if the price is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), it holds a 2–3x version; if it’s very hot it parks in cash/hedges. If below (downtrend), it rotates to T‑bills, gold, oil, the US dollar, or inverse ETFs. RSI is a simple “speedometer”: low = oversold bounce, high = cool‑off.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy offers higher upside and risk-adjusted returns than the S&P: annualized return 46.5% vs 22.3%, Calmar ~1.96, Sharpe ~1.56. It accepts higher drawdowns (~23.7%) for bigger long-run gains via trend leverage and hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
