About

A daily, rule-based swing approach: bet on sharp reversals in big‑tech with leveraged ETFs at extremes; if the market just slid hard, hide in the US dollar or commodities; otherwise own two defensive mega‑caps (UNH, COST, WMT), favoring recent laggards.
NutHow it works
Daily check: 1) If QQQ (big‑tech index fund) looks very cold by a simple 0–100 heat gauge of recent moves (RSI<31), buy TECL (3x tech up). 2) If QQQ looks too hot (RSI>81), buy TECS (3x tech down). 3) Else, if SPY fell >3% in 3 days, pick a haven: if the US dollar trend is up (short>long average on UUP), buy USDU; else buy DBC (commodities). 4) Otherwise, split equally into the two weakest of UNH (health), COST and WMT (retail).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ~49.6% vs ~18.8% for SPY; Sharpe ~1.23 vs ~1.11. Calmar ~1.45. Drawdowns may be larger (~34% vs ~19%), but regime tech-leverage, risk-off pivots, and defensive mega-caps target higher, durable upside vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
