About

Daily rules: fade tech extremes with 3x ETFs; if the market drops fast, rotate to the rising US dollar or to commodities; otherwise buy short‑term dips in UnitedHealth, Costco, and Walmart.
NutHow it works
Each day: 1) Tech check via QQQ (Nasdaq‑100) 14‑day RSI, a 0–100 momentum gauge. If very low (<31) buy TECL (3x bull tech). If very high (>81) buy TECS (3x bear tech). 2) Else, if SPY (S&P 500) fell >3% in 3 days, go defensive: if the US dollar’s 14‑day avg (on UUP) is above its 210‑day, buy USDU; else buy DBC (commodities). 3) Else, buy the two most‑dipped (by 9‑day avg) of UNH (UnitedHealth), COST (Costco), and WMT (Walmart).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside is compelling: ~42% annualized vs ~19% S&P. Calmar ~1.23 signals strong risk-adjusted gains, but drawdowns are higher (~34% vs ~19%). Sharpe is similar (~1.09 vs ~1.12).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
