A very aggressive daily strategy that mostly trades leveraged tech and semiconductor funds, while using stock, bond, and fear signals to flip between bullish, bearish, and defensive positions like gold, cash-like T-bills, and inverse funds.

This is a fast-moving, daily trading strategy built mostly around big bets on technology and semiconductor stocks. It first checks whether tech has risen too far too fast or fallen too hard. If tech looks overheated, it can bet on market fear. If tech looks washed out, it can buy leveraged tech funds. When conditions are less extreme, it uses the S&P 500, bonds, and Treasury funds as a market “health check.” If the market looks strong, it leans into tech and chip funds. If conditions look weak or uncertain, it shifts among bearish tech funds, gold, the U.S. dollar, commodities, very short-term Treasury bills, and a small sleeve in Costco and UnitedHealth.

Out-of-sample, this tech/semis strategy targets ~51% annual return with low beta (~0.58) and Calmar ~0.85, offering higher upside than the S&P 500 while staying less market-sensitive—though it can endure sizable drawdowns.
