An aggressive market-timing strategy that usually leans hard into Nasdaq/tech, but switches to a volatility fund when the market looks overheated and sometimes retreats to plain Nasdaq or T-bills when conditions look weaker.

This strategy is mostly an aggressive bet on big U.S. growth/tech stocks. It usually holds a leveraged Nasdaq fund, but first checks whether many parts of the stock market have gone up too far too fast. If they have, it switches into UVXY, a fund that tends to jump when markets get shaky. If not, it decides how aggressive to be based on whether the recent market had a meaningful drop, whether it has recovered, and whether gains have already become too large. In practice, it rotates among 5 outcomes: very aggressive tech (TQQQ), somewhat less aggressive tech (QLD), regular Nasdaq (QQQ), cash-like T-bills (BIL), or a volatility spike bet (UVXY).

Out-of-sample: ~110% annualized return vs ~17% S&P; Sharpe 1.51 vs 1.03; Calmar 2.68; alpha ~0.66%. Nasdaq/tech tilt with volatility hedges aims for strong, risk-adjusted growth—albeit with higher drawdowns.
