What is VYMI?

Vanguard International High Dividend Yield ETF seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of non-U.S. companies that are characterized by high dividend yield. The FTSE All-World ex US High Dividend Yield Index is derived from the FTSE High Dividend Yield Index. The FTSE All-World ex US High Dividend Yield Index includes large- and mid-cap universe of developed and emerging market stocks excluding the U.S. with the highest dividend yields. Excludes REITs, which generally do not benefit from currently favorable tax rates on qualified dividends & uses buffer zones during annual rebalancing to reduce portfolio turnover.
