The fund, using a "passive" or indexing investment approach, seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Underlying Index.The Underlying Index is a broad-based,market capitalization weighted index that provides exposure to companies with high environmental, social and governance ("ESG") performance relative to their sector peers, while maintaining similar overall industry group weights as the S&P 500 Growth Index.The S&P 500 Growth Index measures the performance of the large-capitalization growth sector of the U.S. equity market and consists of those stocks in the S&P 500 Index exhibiting the strongest growth characteristics, as determined by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC.
