What is SDVD?

The FT Cboe Vest SMID Rising Dividend Achievers Target Income ETF (the Fund) seeks to provide investors with current income with a secondary objective of providing capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will pursue its investment objective by investing primarily in U.S. exchange-traded equity securities contained in the Nasdaq US Small-Mid Cap Rising Dividend Achievers Index and by utilizing an option strategy consisting of writing (selling) U.S. exchange-traded call options on the Russell 2000 Index, or exchange-traded funds that track the Russell 2000 Index.
