The SPDR MSCI Emerging Markets Fossil Fuel Reserves Free ETF seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets ex Fossil Fuels Index. The MSCI Emerging Markets ex Fossil Fuels Index is designed to measure the performance of companies in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index (the Parent Index ) that do not own proved and probable coal, oil or natural gas reserves used for energy purposes. The Parent Index, which serves as the initial universe for eligible securities in the Index, captures large and mid-capitalization representation across 23 emerging market countries.
