What is DBJA?

The Innovator Double Stacker 9 Buffer ETF seeks to provide double upside exposures of 100% SPY + 100% QQQ, to a cap, and downside exposure to SPY, with a buffer against the first 9% of losses over the outcome period. The ETF can be held indefinitely, resetting at the end of each outcome period, approximately annually. Innovator Defined Outcome ETFs are the first ETFs that allow investors to take advantage of market growth while maintaining defined levels of downside exposure. The ETFs are as tax-efficient as traditional ETFs due to a recent rule change allowing the in-kind trading of options.

ETF correlations can help you create investing strategies and portfolios. Use them to:

  • Build a diversified portfolio from uncorrelated or inversely correlated ETFs with the aim of minimizing portfolio risk.
  • Compare correlated or related ETFs to find one with a lower expense ratio or higher trading volume.
  • Create an investing strategy that hedges an ETF with an uncorrelated or inversely correlated ETF.
