About

A bitcoin timing switch. When bitcoin looks washed out, it buys a 2x long bitcoin ETF (BITX/BITU). When it looks overheated, it flips to a –2x short ETF (SBIT). Otherwise it parks in T‑bills (BIL). Very aggressive, swing‑trading style.
NutHow it works
It uses IBIT (a spot bitcoin fund) as a thermometer. RSI is a 0–100 “hot/cold” meter from recent price moves: low = washed out, high = overheated. - If IBIT’s 9‑day RSI < 34: buy a 2x bitcoin fund (whichever of BITX or BITU looks more “washed out”). - Else if IBIT’s 2‑day RSI > 82: buy SBIT (–2x bitcoin). - Otherwise: sit in BIL (T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
An alternative path to alpha: a rules-based Bitcoin timing strategy switching between 2x long, -2x short, and cash. Out-of-sample return ~3.4%, offering crypto-cycle exposure and diversification from the S&P 500 with defined risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
