About

A quarterly, risk-aware rotation across five income/diversifier buckets. It picks the three calmest recently and, within each, favors the steadiest funds to seek smoother returns and ongoing income.
NutHow it works
Every quarter it looks at five buckets: dividend-stock funds, option-income funds (own stocks and sell calls), commodities, real estate/BDCs/energy pipes, and preferred-stock funds. It picks the three buckets with the steadiest prices lately. Inside each, it gives more weight to the calmer funds, then splits money evenly across the three. Some holdings are cash‑like T‑bills for ballast.
CheckmarkValue prop
Defensive, income-focused rotation across five sleeves. In out-of-sample tests, drawdowns are smaller (12.8% vs 18.8% SPY) with smoother volatility and solid risk-adjusted returns, delivering steadier income than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
