About

A defensive core in Costco and UnitedHealth that moves to T‑Bills if overheated or during fast market drops, plus a small tactical sleeve that buys UVXY only when markets look frothy; otherwise it sits in short‑term bonds.
NutHow it works
Two parts. Core: mostly hold Costco (COST) and UnitedHealth (UNH). If either looks overheated—or the S&P 500 just plunged fast—that slot parks in T‑Bills (BIL). Tactical: if the S&P is above its long‑term trend and markets look euphoric, briefly buy UVXY (jumps when fear spikes); otherwise sit in short‑term bonds (BSV). In downtrends it mostly stays in BSV, with only brief UVXY bursts.
CheckmarkValue prop
Defensive core (COST/UNH) with cash and a measured volatility hedge aims for low market beta and downside protection, offering steadier risk-adjusted performance and diversification versus the S&P 500, especially in volatile markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
